David Lintern is a photographer, workshop leader, author, writer & editor based in the Scottish Highlands.
He has over a decade of experience creating stories for organisations & media including the BBC, The Guardian, National Geographic, National Trust for Scotland, Cairngorm National Park Authority, Visit Cairngorms, RZSS, Slow Ways & the John Muir Trust. He’s been a production fixer for TV and radio & worked in the wings on advertorial for dozens of brands.
David has been a campaigning & investigative journalist on Scottish land rights & access issues & has contributed widely across the UK outdoor press - The Great Outdoors, Walk Highlands, Sidetracked, BMC’s Summit, Trek & Mountain, UK Hillwalking & Outdoor Enthusiast.
He is the author of 3 books, & an editor at The Great Outdoors, where he has been particularly focused on bringing in and helping to develop the work of new contributors.
He’s also a commercial photographer specialising in environmental and event work, & a & photographic teacher/guide across the Highlands.
